Christopher Cumsille-Ibanez

Christopher Cumsille-Ibanez, Christopher has 20+ years experience in the O+P field. He obtained his BA from the University of Iowa in 1997 and became a certified Pedorthist through the Board of Certification/Accreditation, International. He then became a Certified Orthotist also through the Board of Certification/ Accreditation, International. He has extensive experience in all areas of orthosis ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. He has proven results with wound care for diabetic patients. He worked for two years as the Foot Orthotic Consultant at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. He also has served as the Head of Pedorthics for all Christy Sports Stores in Colorado and worked as Director for Force Plate Technology for Ergoresearch and was also their Director of Sales. Chris also served as Director of Athlete Services for Dynamic Foot Positioning and has been featured in O+P Edge Magazine. Chris also volunteered many years for the Winter Park Sports Center for the Disabled Ski Program.

Chris is trained in foot and lower-limb anatomy, pathology, physiology, biomechanics, gait analysis, footwear fitting and design, lower extremity orthotic design and shoe modification. Chris has yearly continuing education to remain current on new technologies being developed in the industry. Chris is also fluent in Spanish and conversational in Portuguese. Chris is an avid skier, hiker and cyclist and as such enjoys working with athletes striving to better their performance. On the weekends, Chris enjoys spending time with family and friends and perfecting his grilling skills.
